Welcome to It Is What It Is Candles, a family-owned business founded on a shared vision and passion for creativity. Our journey began when Mom had a brilliant idea, and Dad made it a reality, bringing our whole family together to create something special.
Our Family
At the heart of our business are our two amazing kids, Michael (15) and Arianna (13). Together, we collaborate to build our brand and manage every aspect of our candle-making venture:
Mom: The creative force behind our designs, she pours her heart and soul into every candle.
Dad: The planner and strategist, managing marketing, advertising, shipments, and inventory.
Michael: Handling cashiering, storefront operations, boxing, and packaging.
Arianna: Assisting with bagging and packaging, as well as engaging with our social media.
As busy parents juggling full-time jobs alongside our candle business, we strive to squeeze in as much family time as possible while participating in shows and events to spread the word about our brand.
Our Mission
We established It Is What It Is Candles in 2023 with a mission to create more than just candles. We wanted to evoke the love of food and art, combining them into fun, realistic, and affordable desserts represented in candle form. Our unique desserts look and smell just like the real thing, offering a fresh alternative for candle lovers who have seen it all.
